Buckeyestargazer.net is my attempt to share some of my knowledge of astrophotography techniques with persons interested in pursuing this challenging hobby. As a beginner myself a few years ago, I often found it difficult to find good practical advice.

That's probably because imaging setups are so different, and each present their own challenges. What I attempt to do here is to share my imaging steps with each photo, to give the beginner some starting steps.

I clearly am not an expert! I have a long way to go before I will be able to match some of the outstanding amateur astrophotographers. However, because the learning curve is so long, I felt that those who are just starting out would benefit from such a site as this.
